Movement is a more complicated process than most of us appreciate. There are physicists that spend entire years trying to calculate the dynamic interplay between observable objects and motion. I hope someday they figure out how to remove the gravity from the escalator, but until then we will happily work with some of their outdated models of particle motion. The following equations within this section are provided to illuminate the role that movement plays in the creation or deconstruction of the individual.

  X in motion is not X. It is X + motion (velocity, distance, etc.). A constantly moving X, a gradually, perhaps imperceptibly, moving X is never really X because it doesn't have a time to exist. The present, for X, does not exist, only the future or “next” state. The twist is that X never reaches “next” because “next” has a definition that precludes attainment.

  Since nothing stops happening, we are all X. Or rather, we all face the same problems that X faces. Everything is X. Or rather, Everything faces the same problem X faces. (Until death of course, but even then X is not X, it is dead-X. It is the absence of X.) Everything is process and there is no individual, no identity.

  Constant motion defies categorization, defies quantification. All systems are products of movement. If X has a blood stream like yours, then it moves like you. If X has no botany, then it moves like a rock. X moves because nothing stops happening.
